The Clerk position requires high attention to detail and ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures specific to this position.\nPrimary Accountabilities:\nWork on the receiving dock for the facility\n\nUnload trucks by hand and with a manual pallet jack\n\nScan the inbound boxes or packages into the system using RF equipment or a computer terminal\n\nFollow instructions for handling any discrepancies noted\n\nAlways maintain a clean and orderly workstation and area\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\nComplies with all policies and standards\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma (or its equivalent) required\n\n1-3 years experience in a warehouse or production job; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position required required\n\nAble to follow standard operation and safety procedures (Low proficiency)\n\nAble to work in an environment that is not climate controlled (Low proficiency)\n\nAble to push a cart or hand truck up to 100 yards; able to use a pallet jack (Low proficiency)\n\nAble to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (Low proficiency), overtime as needed\n\nAble to handle hazardous waste materials with appropriate safety measures (Low proficiency)\n\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the major job responsibilities (essential functions) of this job. The hiring pay rate for this position is:\n$17.99Incremental pay increase are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment.
