The incumbent is responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining data management systems, making sure they meet business requirements and user needs and delivering services that are automated, reliable and secure. The EDI Engineer works within an established team and supports other EDI Engineers in their daily work while receiving direction from Sr. EDI Engineers on the team.Primary Accountabilities:\nAxway Mapping, map development, updating and testing\nResponsible for the full life cycle support of assigned EDI and processes.\nInvestigate problems in systems, processes and services, with an understanding of the level of a problem (e.g. strategic, tactical, operational).\nContribute to the implementation of remedies and preventative measures.\nExecute test scripts under supervision and with an understanding of the role of testing and how it works.\nUtilize knowledge of information security and controls that can be used to mitigate security threats within solutions and services.\nTranslate technical concepts into non-technical language and understand what communication is required to internal and external stakeholders.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nComplies with all policies and standards\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelors Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, or a Bachelor of Arts Degree in a related technical field, required\n3+ years of work experience with Axway application required\nAxway mapping tools\nOr any equivalent combination of experience and training/certification in software, hardware & technology applications required\nAbility to provide root cause analysis of basic support issues\nAbility make changes in existing processes\nUnderstanding of Database performance (thread use, resources, Idera, etc.) and backup and recovery fundamentals\nUnderstanding of File System/Network backup and recovery fundamentals\nUnderstanding of disaster recovery protocols\nUnderstanding of EDI Platform and troubleshooting techniques\nStrong understanding of change management policies and risk mitigation\nSpecific Technical Skills Needed:\nSQL statements/queries\nProgramming languages such as Python, NodeJS, Airflow, Couchbase\nAbility to learn new tools/platforms quickly\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the major job responsibilities (essential functions) of this job.
