You will own the technical direction and be hands-on in delivering it.\n\nThis role can be either permanently based at our Cambridge UK office or hybrid home/office based. You must qualify for employment in the UK.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead a new squad delivering inMusic's test automation initiative for music production products.\nSelect, implement, and maintain the automation framework, toolchain, and coding standards used across the initiative.\nDesign and build the CI integration, including multi-platform agent configuration and test reporting.\nDevelop the initial regression suite for a pilot project, establishing the patterns that product squads will follow.\nPublish and maintain a live coverage and results dashboard giving clear visibility of automation progress and quality across products.\nPlan and track the squad's work with Jira.\nGovern the use of AI-assisted test generation: select appropriate tooling, define prompting and review standards, and ensure AI-generated scripts meet quality thresholds.\nWork closely with the Director of Software Development, product squads and QA to make adopting the framework and its patterns straightforward.\nWhat You Bring\nStrong test automation experience, including selecting and designing frameworks and building regression suites that stay reliable and maintainable as they grow.\nProficient in C++ and scripting languages appropriate to the task, such as Python.
