We believe in offering an engaging, inclusive and supportive work environment where each team member can thrive.\nYour contribution!\nReporting to the Senior Director - IT Infrastructure and OT, the Technician - IT will provide maintenance and support for the configuration of computers and will be responsible for problem solving and providing support to employees for software, hardware and networking issue.\nYour day-to-day!\nConfigure, install, and test, workstations, mobile devices and software for operational and administrative sites. \nPlan, collaborate on, and coordinate the installation and support of IT equipment with site representatives. \nEnsure compliance with corporate standards and information security requirements during installations and configurations. \nPerform upgrades and periodic maintenance of IT assets at operational and administrative sites, including updates, backups, and log reviews. \nProvide user support for operational sites through on-site and remote interventions. \nManage user accounts, access rights, and security maintenance in accordance with corporate policies. \nConduct the necessary research and troubleshooting activities to resolve issues, including liaising with vendors when required. \nParticipate in the evolution of the IT infrastructure and contribute to various projects as needed. \nCollaborate closely with teams across different departments during incidents and problem resolution. \nPrepare and maintain technical documentation and IT equipment standards. \nCoordinate support activities in the Vancouver administrative site and manage relationship with local executives to collect business needs and manage priorities. \nYour skills, our requirements!\nCollege diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \n3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. \nExperience providing technical support in Windows environments.\n\nKnowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and key management tools (Active Directory, Remote Desktop, etc.).\n\nExperience managing a fleet of mobile devices.\n\nExperience with Intune and FortClient VPN.\n\nExperience with PowerShell and software packaging is an asset.\n\nExperience managing wireless networks (controllers, security, SSIDs) is an asset.\n\nExperience with Apple systems and iPhone devices is an asset.\n\nDemonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nAbility to work in a structured environment.\n\nExcellent customer service skills with a strong customer focus. \nAbility to prioritize workload effectively. \nProficiency in English spoken and written - French an asset. \nAvailability for occasional evening and weekend work. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\n\nExperience supporting Lenovo, Dell and Apple hardware.\n\nExperience using JIRA for ticket management. \nExperience using Confluence and SharePoint for documentation management. \nAdditional considerations!\nThe position can be based in the company's Vancouver, BC office.\nThis position is a S3 level.\nOur benefits!\nCompetitive salary and annual bonus;\nThree weeks vacation to start and paid vacations during the holiday season; \n100% Innergex-funded medical insurance from day one of employment, including primary care services through dialogue (or telemedicine) for permanent positions;\nGroup retirement plans with employer participation;\n100% Employer-funded Wellness Account;\nElectric vehicle (E-VIP) incentive program;\nHybrid work model;\nCareer development opportunities;\nOffices accessible by public transportation.\nPay Transparency Statement\nCompensation for roles at Innergex varies based on a wide range of factors, including skill set, education, and relevant experience. We are committed to pay equity and take internal equity among current team members into account when determining any final offer.\nTo support pay transparency, the hiring range for this position is 29,25$ - 33,85$ per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.
