The candidate will focus on architecting, developing, and optimizing embedded wireless protocol stacks on resource-constrained platforms, ensuring compliance, performance, and reliability.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect, design, and implement firmware solutions for Zigbee/Thread and IEEE 802.15.4-based products.\nDevelop and optimize low-level drivers, MAC/PHY interfaces, and protocol stack layers.\nDebug and resolve wireless interoperability and certification issues using sniffers (Ubiqua, Wireshark, Perytons).\nCollaborate with hardware, QA, and product teams to ensure robust HW/SW co-design and regulatory compliance.\nDebug, analyze, and optimize power consumption and timing for battery-operated IoT devices.\nSupport certification and compliance efforts for Zigbee/Thread-based products.\nDocument software design, testing procedures, and release notes.\nRequired Skills & Competencies\n12+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.\nStrong programming skills in C / Embedded C; assembly or scripting (Python) a plus.\nExpertise in IEEE 802.15.4 MAC/PHY, Zigbee, and Thread protocol stacks.\nExperience with embedded RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or Linux system programming).\nProficiency in debug tools (JTAG, GDB, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, sniffers).\nStrong knowledge of microcontrollers, transceivers, and RF system design basics.\nHands-on debugging and optimization for low-power wireless systems.\nFamiliarity with IoT frameworks and domains like home automation, security, and energy management.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nQualification\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.• 12+ years of relevant experience in wireless embedded systems.\n\nIt is key to unleash the potential in every employee, every team, every leader, and the company herself.
