This role serves as the central point for all planned maintenance activities, coordinating closely with Production, Maintenance, and support teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment reliability.\nReports to: Maintenance Manager\nThe Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using the CMMS (preferably JD Edwards/E1), ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead and communicate effectively across departments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSchedule and coordinate preventive maintenance in line with production priorities.\nSupport daily maintenance activities and help troubleshoot equipment issues.\nAnalyze recurring maintenance problems and drive root cause resolution.\nEnsure all maintenance activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.\nCoordinate contractors for fire systems and mobile equipment PMs.\nServe as backup to the Mechanical Supervisor as needed.\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (chemical or food industry ideal).\n3+ years in a maintenance planning or supervisory role.\nStrong knowledge of chemical plant equipment (pumps, piping, heat exchangers, etc.).\nExperience in union and PSM-regulated environments, including PHA and MOC processes, preferred.
