The right candidate will be responsible for the efficient operations of assigned area, including quality, safety, housekeeping, record keeping, environmental, etc.\nKey Responsibilities\nObserves and operates all equipment and instrumentation, troubleshoots, adjusts equipment, cleans equipment, makes regular rounds, and records data on appropriate logs and sheets\nProperly uses the JDE Enterprise 1 system to make appropriate transactions, product scans, and maintenance work orders\nOperates the packaging systems including operating the packaging equipment, the delivery of correct bags, boxes, drums, Super Sacks, etc., to the staging areas\nOperates the packaging stations including the packaging hopper, and delivery of correctly filled bags, sacks, etc.\nKeeps areas clean\nAssists in training other operators\nPerforms other work as assigned\nShift\nRotating Shift - 1st shift (6:30 am-2:30 pm), 2nd shift (2:30 pm-10:30 pm), 3rd shift (10:30 pm-6:30 am) Monday - Sunday\nInitially assigned to 1st shift for training\nA typical 4 week schedule may be:\n3rd Shift for 7 days with 2 days off following then,\n2nd Shift for 7 days with 1 day off following then,\n1st Shift for 7 days with 4 days off following\nRequired to rotate between all 3 shifts - shift premium applied on 2nd and 3rd shifts\nAlternative work schedules may be required based on site business needs\nEligible for operator experience in a manufacturing setting\nForklift experience preferred\nRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nMust be capable of accurately completing reports and understanding written material, and performing basic mathematics\nDemonstrates knowledge of process flow description (PFD), key process control points, process description, rounds sheets and data sheets, analytical specifications and control thereof, all relevant job analyses, and appropriate troubleshooting\nDemonstration of above knowledge includes written and oral testing, and actual operation of equipment, to meet minimum standards of acceptability\nAbility to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards, and
