The Lab Tech position is responsible for performing all raw material, in-process, and finished product testing for products produced at the Geismar plant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing daily calibration checks, running references, evaluating the validity of the data, entering data into log books and LIMS software programs, analytical calculations\nMust be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and LIMS software\nMust be able to:\nSafely handle corrosive and toxic chemicals\nSafely work alone when necessary \nComplete assignments in a timely fashion\nMaintain a clean work area\nVisually make color comparisons and identify the presence of foreign materials\nInteract professionally with supervisors/production employees in busy lab environment\nUse good documentation skills/organizational skills to record lab results\nMust have a good attendance record\nMust be able to work rotating shift schedule, weekends, holidays, and vacation relief\nAbility to follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the proper wearing of clean protective clothing, following personal hygiene standards,
