Our business systems (CRM, marketing automation, data warehouse, classroom platform, billing and logistics) are a large distributed ecosystem. Until now we have run them with hybrid profiles that combine business understanding with hands-on building. As we scale across markets, we need someone who brings real software engineering discipline to Operations: clean architecture, testing, observability, reliability and maintainability.\nYou will design, build and own the integrations, automations and internal tools that Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance rely on every day and make them as robust as possible.\nYour day to day\nBuilding and owning integrations between our core systems (Salesforce, Iterable, the Classroom Manager platform, Jira, the data warehouse, billing and others), with proper error handling, retries, idempotency and monitoring.\n\nDeveloping on the CRM platform (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows) and replacing no-code spaghetti with maintainable, tested code where it makes sense.\n\nDesigning data pipelines and syncs that keep our systems consistent at scale, and diagnosing why they drift (data quality, API limits, payload edge cases).\n\nCreating internal tools and services that automate manual processes for Revenue and Operations teams, from small scripts to full applications.\n\nWork with engineering standards: version control, code review, CI/CD, environments, documentation and incident post-mortems.\n\nTaking part in incident resolution across the Operations ecosystem. You will find the root cause and then fix the structural problem so it doesn't come back.\n\nEvaluating build vs. buy vs. configure with sound technical judgment, and being honest about trade-offs and cost.\n\nWorking closely with Engineering and Data so Operations systems and the product platform evolve coherently.\n\nUsing AI agents and automation to speed up your own development and to design AI-assisted workflows for the business.\n\nMentoring colleagues with hybrid or less technical profiles, raising the technical bar of the team.\n\nWhat we're looking for\n5+ years of professional experience as a software developer (backend or full-stack), with solid fundamentals: data structures, APIs, testing, version control and debugging complex systems.\n\nStrong command of at least one general-purpose language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java/Apex or PHP) and willingness to learn others quickly.\n\nExperience designing and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks and asynchronous processes, and handling their failure modes.\n\nGood SQL skills and comfort working with data models and analytical data (warehouse, ETL/ELT).\n\nExperience integrating third-party SaaS platforms (CRM, marketing automation, billing, ERP) is a big plus.\n\nTechnical judgment: you understand trade-offs, write code that others can maintain, and know when not to build something.\n\nInterest in the business side of what you build. You want to understand how Sales, Marketing and Customer Success work, so you solve their real problem and not just the ticket.\n\nEarly-adopter mindset with AI coding agents and automation tools.\n\nHigh autonomy and ownership. You can take a vague operational pain point and turn it into a reliable solution.\n\nFluent English and conversational Spanish.\n\nYou'll stand out if you have:\nExperience with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, SOQL, deployments) or another enterprise CRM.\n\nExperience with iPaaS/automation tools (Make, Zapier, n8n) and knowing their limits.\n\nExperience with Databricks, dbt, Metabase or a similar data stack.\n\nBackground in marketing automation (Iterable, HubSpot, Braze…) and email/data deliverability.\n\nExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure as code.\n\nPrevious experience in a B2B or edtech company.\n\nA degree in Computer Science or a related field is welcome, but we value demonstrated ability above all.\nWhat you'll work with\nSalesforce, Iterable, Make, Databricks/dbt, Metabase, Jira and our own Classroom Manager APIs, alongside the web, mobile and data platforms built by the Engineering teams. You don't need to know all of it.
