This role does not have a guaranteed number of hours per week or a consistent schedule.\nPay: $20-23/hour, Based on experience and region\nPosition Overview\nAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? We are looking for positive, energetic team members who enjoy working with school-age children and creating meaningful connections every day.\nKey Responsibilities\nStudent Engagement & Support\nBuild positive relationships with students and create a welcoming environment.\nServe as a role model by promoting respect, responsibility, and resilience.\nSupport students through positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution.\nEnsure student safety and well-being at all times.\nProgram Delivery\nLead engaging enrichment, recreation, and team-building activities.\nFacilitate homework help and academic support sessions.\nParticipate in games, fitness activities, and outdoor play.\nHelp students develop social-emotional and leadership skills.\nProgram Operations\nAssist with daily program setup and cleanup.\nSupport student check-in, attendance, and dismissal procedures.\nMaintain an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.\nFollow all company policies, licensing requirements, and safety procedures.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nExperience working with children in schools, childcare programs, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations preferred.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team.\nPositive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.\nCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.\nState Qualifications:\nCandidates must be 18 years old and have 240 hours of experience working in a licensed childcare facility AND have one of the following:\n1. Four credits in school-age child growth and development or its equivalent.\n2. The first 2 courses of the Registry Afterschool & Youth Development Credential.\n3.
