Main responsibilities will focus on supporting the helpdesk, assisting other engineers in fine tuning the network, systems, and corporate applications and support end user issues.\n\nClearance & Location Requirements:\nAll applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.\nThis is an on-site position. Requiring at least 3 days in office, based out of our Arlington, VA location.\nKey Responsibilities\n What You Will Do:\nDay to day in-person and remote end user support and ensuring tickets are closed in a timely fashion\nAdminister Microsoft 365 environment (email, compliance, SharePoint, etc.)\nImage, deploy, troubleshoot, maintain end user workstations\nPerform requirements analysis, translating business need into IT resource specifications\nDeveloping internal and external documentation\nAsset management and procurement\nProvision end user workstations per corporate and end user needs\nPatching and maintenance of end user workstations and corporate physical and virtual servers, storage, cloud instances, and infrastructure.\nContribute to improvement of administrative and operational processes\nEnsure that all systems are in compliance with industry standard IT security frameworks such as NIST\nPartner with the Helpdesk Team Lead on workload management and team coordination while developing leadership skills\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\n Who You Are (Required):\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant field of Engineering, or equivalent full-time professional experience.\n5+ years of full-time professional experience in a relevant technology field\nAbility to travel up to 10% of the time, as needed\nExperience with imaging end user workstations\nExperience with enterprise domain/active directory environment\nExperience with ticketing systems\nExperience interfacing directly with end users and troubleshooting end user issues both in-person and remotely\nExtensive experience with Operating Systems (Mainly Windows and some Linux) configuration and administration\nExperience working within Microsoft 365 environments\nBasic network experience - understanding IP and subnetting\nDemonstrated ability to shift from one project to another in an agile work environment\nAbility to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentations\nExperience with cloud environments, such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure\n What Makes You Stand Out:\nBeyondTrust Remote Support solution\nZendesk ticketing system\nManageEngine software suite\nNinjaOne platform experience\nNetworking protocol experience (802.11, TCP, UDP, ICMP)\nVMWare, AWS, Azure, SEC+, A+ certifications or equivalent is a plus\nGroup Policy Management\nAbility to create and employ requirements and specifications during discovery phase of corporate solutions.\nDesire to stay current with industry trends and best practices\nExcellence in technical oral and written communication with peers and non-technical cohorts\nBe capable of working independently, but thrive in a team environment\nSolid analytical abilities, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive \nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining established service-level agreements (SLAs)\nExcellent time management skills\nIf you see yourself reflected in this role and are excited about the impact you could make, we encourage you to apply!
