While maintaining the highest quality. Understand and have been trained on the SOPs that are required for\nthis job. Provide support to the packers as needed.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOperate HMC machines\nPass off the Operator 11 certification and each yearly recertification there after\nPerform all RedZone production inputs for starting run, ending run. inputting scrap. and downtimes\nuse RedZone to monitor OEE and performance and lead huddles\nComplete all quality and compliance checks in RedZone correctly and as scheduled, add notes and detail on\nany faded or missed checks\nSetup of the machine for different packets\nTake apart the Hibar pumps and re-assemble\nCheck/replace O-rings on pumps and nozzles\nProperly setuWadjust nozzle angles and air pressure for Hibar pump\nChange out top, bottom, side seals, and die cuts\nReplace bad nozzle cylinders\nAssist Other operators as needed\nMake minor adjustments when issues occur with quality of packets, leakers, wrinkles, crooked, ,\nshoulders, off centered seals, etc\nProperly line up hot and cold top seals so they are hitting the same place on the packet\nAdjust seal pressure and dwell time\nProperly adjust gusset\nAdjust the photo eye\nKnow and understand how to properly adjust the Hibar pump PLC timing channels\nHelp with basic PM's of the HMC machines\nKeep HMC machine and area around it clean\nHMC Knowledge, Heavy Lifting, Maintenance, Temperature and Quality Control\nHelp make boxes/cartons\nHelp put boxes/cartons On pallets\nOther duties as assigned by manager\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\n Quality orientated and attention to detail. \nAbility to trouble shoot equipment and problems with quality of packets, leakers, wrinkles, weights, crooked and other. \nAble to communicate in English. \nStrong team player. \nMachinery operator/maintenance experience on technical equipment (4+ years) \nQuality orientated and attention to detail. \nProblem analysis and resolution. \nStrong interpersonal and communication skills. \nAn ability to manage multiple priorities.\nComputer literacy. \nPhysical Demands\nAbility to exert up to 40 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, or pull objects (Rolls of film can weigh up to 50 pounds which must be moved onto carts and lifted onto the machines). \nWalking, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions\nManual dexterity\nAbility to talk and hear in a manufacturing environment\nWork Environment\nThis role involves working in manufacturing areas where personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection, may be required. GMP practices are strictly enforced.
