You won't be managing a static on-prem rack; you'll be flying to Indonesia, Kenya, Brazil, Thailand, and beyond, directly shaping how millions of people are identified.\nTech Stack\nCore daily stack: RHEL / Rocky Linux, Ansible, AWS, GitLab, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, Bash, Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, VMware / Proxmox, Keycloak, Redis / Ignite, Python / Java, MSSQL, Networking (CCNA level)\nIn your first month, you’ll\nLearn the core architecture and the various integration methods used across our systems.\nShadow live deployments to observe how projects are executed in real client environments.\nPerform internal deployments to build hands-on familiarity with the process.\nAs you settle into the role, you’ll\n Lead your first client deployment from start to finish, taking ownership of the process.\nTroubleshoot issues and optimize performance directly in production environments.\nAdapt deployment tooling and approaches to fit the specific needs of each project.\nWithin your first year, you’ll\nMaster the full ABIS toolset well enough to work with it confidently and independently.\nContribute meaningfully to Factory Acceptance Tests as part of the project delivery cycle.\nIdentify and improve internal processes on your own initiative, without needing direction.\nManage multiple deployments in parallel, balancing priorities across several projects at once.\nBecome a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them beyond just technical implementation.\nChannel customer feedback back into the product roadmap to help shape future development.\nWhat You Will Do\nInstall, configure, and administer the Innovatrics ABIS product end-to-end for clients worldwide\nOwn client deployments from initial scoping through go-live, including on-site travel (up to 25% of your time)\nProvide L2/L3 support to partners\nTune and troubleshoot system performance across the full stack (OS, Kubernetes, database, network, application)\nBuild and improve internal deployment tooling, monitoring pipelines, and automated playbooks\nCollaborate with Consulting and Engineering colleagues on product improvement and technical documentation (e.g., Factory Acceptance Tests)\nTrain partner technical teams in ABIS administration and operations best practices\nParticipate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule\nRequirements\nSkills and Mindset\nStrong ownership, structured troubleshooting, and attention to detail\nComfortable communicating with customers under time pressure (SLA-driven)\nReliable and able to work independently, while escalating early when needed\nMust Have\n1+ year Unix/Linux server admin experience (personal or professional)\nStrong analytical and independent problem-solving skills\nClear written and verbal communication in English, Spanish and ideally Portuguese\nSolid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL or Oracle)\nWorking knowledge of networking (routing, firewalls, DNS, TCP/IP)\nWillingness to travel internationally (up to 25%)\nProactive, responsible, team-oriented attitude\nNice to Have\nHands-on experience with any core stack technology (Ansible, AWS, RHEL, Grafana…)\nFamiliarity with containerisation (Docker, K8s)\nKnowledge of English, Spanish and Portuguese (advantage)\nScripting skills (Bash, Python)\nVirtualisation experience (VMware, Proxmox)\nBackground in or curiosity about biometric systems\nExperience with observability tooling (ELK, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)\nWhat Makes a Strong Candidate Stand Out\nYou have deployed and administered Linux-based applications end-to-end, not just managed infrastructure\nYou can clearly explain a complex incident -
