You won't simply maintain the status quo-you'll help identify opportunities, implement initiatives, and elevate the services we provide to pets and families throughout the Triad.\nWhat You'll Do:\nPeople & Culture: Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable Veterinary Assistants, Lead Technicians, and Client Service/Reception teams\nTraining & Development: Own onboarding, training, performance development, career growth, and leadership development across the hospital\nOperations: Manage daily workflow, staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, PIMS processes, equipment, and hospital resources\nFinancial Performance: Partner with the Medical Director and Regional Operations Support to develop budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, manage labor, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth\nPayroll & Compliance: Ensure accurate payroll, staffing records, licensure tracking, and required operational compliance\nInventory & Resources: Oversee inventory management, purchasing, equipment, maintenance, and cost controls\nPractice Initiatives: Champion new processes, training programs, service improvements, and operational initiatives that strengthen the hospital\nClient Experience: Reinforce exceptional service, support client retention, and help resolve escalated client concerns\nLeadership Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Regional Operations Support to align medical, operational, financial, and team priorities\nWhat We're Looking For\nThis is an experienced leadership opportunity - not an entry-level management role.\n5+ years of veterinary Practice Management experience required\nStrong background in general practice, emergency, or urgent care\nProven experience leading veterinary support teams and developing future leaders\nStrong understanding of staffing, scheduling, labor, budgeting, payroll, revenue, expenses, and practice performance\nConfident using data and financial information to make thoughtful business decisions\nStrong communication, organization, accountability, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence\nVeterinary PIMS experience required; Vetspire experience is a plus\nBusiness & Professional Development\n\nWe're especially interested in leaders who bring additional education or professional development in business management, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.\n\nA Bachelor's degree, MBA, business management education, CVPM, CVBL, or pursuit of a professional veterinary management credential is a plus.\nWhether you're already credentialed or working toward your next professional milestone, we want to support your continued growth as a veterinary business leader.\nAbout Animal Hospital of Lewisville\nLocated in Lewisville, North Carolina, Animal Hospital of Lewisville provides relationship-driven veterinary care for dogs and cats throughout the Triad.
