The candidate will:\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, peripheral, and networking problems in stressful situations.\nExplain technical concepts to inexperienced users.\nOptimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware.\nInstall and configure software and hardware.\nCreate Incident Reports on system issues and performing system data collection.\nPerform and provide server, workstation, and application expertise to government, civilian and contractor users.\nProvide support to other work centers and test community.\nTravel to off-site location with the supported community user.\nEscort and provide support to engineers and maintenance personnel.\nCoordinate with other Mission Assurance Centers.\nOrder replacement of new hardware and software including warranty claims.\nOther duties as assigned.\nBasic Requirements:\nMust have 1.5 years of directly related experience.\nMust have at least 4 years of general work history.\nMust have experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (OS) and associated hardware.\nMust have experience with Windows System Administration.\nMust have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.\nMust have experience with Virtualization.\nMust have experience with Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.\nMust have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher (Security + (CE)).\nMust have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.\nDesired Requirements:\nHave experience using command line interface such as cisco, unix, linux, or windows.\nHave experience with Cyber and Space Operations.\nHave a VMware certification -VCP/VCAP\nHave experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.\nHave experience with Netapp technologies.\nAS degree in the computer field.\nBasic understanding of network topologies and protocols.\n*Shift work is required to support 24×7 operations.
