Develop and document technical processes and procedures.\nInteract, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with teammates and vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.\nEnsure necessary administration tasks are completed, recommend, and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.\nWork close with customers and resolve their technical issues.\nBasic Requirements:\nMust have an Active Secret Clearance\n6 years or more of general work history\n3 years or more of directly related experience\nExperience in Systems Administration of complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.\nExperience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring systems from the OS level up.\nExperience with VMWare installation and configuration and Systems Administration of EXSi hosts, deploying and configuring VMware vCenter, configure virtual storage using ISCSI and NFS storage.\nExperience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system, experience with applying group policies from Active Directory.\nExperience with scripting languages (developing, debugging, and maintaining\nDesired Requirements:\nTechnical aptitude and ability to administer Windows Server and higher, VMware and NetApp\nNetwork services including DNS, DHCP, NPS.\nAuthentication services including Active Directory, Radius, NPS.\nServer support including Linux, Windows, VMWare, VMware Cloud Foundation\nAbility to troubleshoot and accurately identify root cause of infrastructure issues.\nStrong collaboration capabilities to work closely with Government customers and Agile Teams.\nKnowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments Preferred\nIDS is committed to providing superior work in the fields of science, engineering, data analytics and technology to government agencies.
