Collaboration & Agile DeliveryRequired Skills & Qualifications\n\n Test Automation Development\nDesign, develop, execute, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.\nBuild and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM), fixtures, and reusable utilities.\nDevelop automated tests for critical business workflows, regression scenarios, smoke testing, and functional validation.\nImplement API automation using Playwright's API request context or other suitable tools.\nManage test data, environment configurations, and test dependencies to ensure reliable test execution.\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.\nConfigure parallel execution, test sharding, retries, and reporting to optimise execution time and reliability.\nPerform cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.\nValidate application behaviour across different screen sizes and responsive layouts.\nGenerate clear test execution reports and communicate test results, defects, and release risks.\nInvestigate automation failures, identify root causes, and resolve flaky tests.\nMonitor automation coverage, execution stability, and test suite effectiveness.\nIdentify opportunities to improve test coverage, execution speed, and maintainability.\nCollaborate with development teams to reproduce defects, validate fixes, and prevent regressions.\nContribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing strategies, and engineering standards.\nWork closely with developers, BAs, product owners, and DevOps engineers to define acceptance criteria and ensure requirements are testable.\nParticipate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\nAdvocate for a shift-left testing approach by integrating quality practices early in the development lifecycle.\nReview automation code, share best practices, and support team members in improving their testing skills.\nCommunicate testing progress, technical challenges, and release readiness to relevant stakeholders across distributed teams.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 2 years of hands-on test automation experience.\nProven experience implementing and maintaining Playwright automation in production projects.\nStrong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.\nGood understanding of automation framework design, including Page Object Model, fixtures, reusable components, and test data management.\nHands-on experience with end-to-end, functional, regression, and smoke testing.\nPractical experience in REST API testing using Playwright APIRequestContext, Postman, or equivalent tools.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.\nFamiliarity with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code review practices.\nUnderstanding of test design techniques, the test pyramid, risk-based testing, and defect lifecycle management.\nAbility to troubleshoot failures, analyse test results, and improve automation reliability.\nExcellent written and spoken English communication skills.\nStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.\n\nInnoWave gives equal opportunity in employment regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, or any other factor.
