NET services on Azure, from domain design and API contracts to infrastructure as code, security, and operability. You will partner with engineering, product, and client stakeholders to turn business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-aware solutions, and mentor engineers along the way.\nResponsibilities:\nDefine end-to-end architecture for. NET applications and microservices, including domain boundaries, API design, data models, and integration patterns.\nDesign cloud-native solutions on Azure using App Service, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, Event Grid/Event Hubs, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, API Management, and Key Vault.\nEstablish Infrastructure as Code standards with Terraform, including module design, remote state, environment strategy, and policy-as-code guardrails.\nDesign CI/CD and release strategies in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including automated testing, security scanning, and Terraform plan/apply workflows.\nDrive non-functional requirements: performance, scalability, resilience, observability (Application Insights, Azure Monitor), and cost optimization.\nOwn security architecture: Entra ID (OAuth2/OIDC), managed identities, RBAC, secrets management, network isolation, and compliance needs.\nLead design and code reviews, produce architecture decision records (ADRs), and keep technical documentation current and usable.\nEvaluate build-vs-buy and technology choices, and guide modernization of legacy. NET Framework applications to modern. NET.\nMentor engineers, raise engineering standards, and stay hands-on with prototypes, proofs of concept, and critical code paths.\nRequirements:\n10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architect or technical lead role, with a genuine hands-on development background.\nDeep expertise in C#, . NET 6/7/8, ASP. NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and asynchronous and distributed programming.\nStrong experience architecting on Azure, with a track record of designing and operating production systems at scale.\nProficiency with Terraform and IaC practices; experience with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, and CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong grasp of microservices, event-driven architecture, DDD, CQRS, and design patterns, and clear judgment on when not to use them.\nExperience with SQL Server and NoSQL stores, plus data modeling and caching strategies.\nExcellent communication: you can explain trade-offs to engineers, product leaders, and clients, and write clearly.\nNice to have: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), AZ-400, or Terraform Associate; experience integrating LLM/AI services (Azure OpenAI) into enterprise applications.\nBeyond the Tech Stack:\nPragmatic architect.
