The position leads both the customer relationship and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality commitments are met.\nOwn the full project lifecycle for contracted projects - from kick-off to final acceptance and handover - ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality targets are met.\n\nBuild and maintain detailed project plans covering milestones, resource allocation, dependencies and deliverables; keep them live and actively managed.\n\nDrive schedule adherence by proactively identifying slippage early and implementing corrective actions before they become customer issues.\n\nManage project financials: track costs against budget, flag deviations, and work with commercial teams on change orders, claims or contract adjustments.\n\nAct as the primary interface to the customer throughout the project - building trust, managing expectations, and escalating or resolving issues with confidence.\n\nProvide structured, consistent project reporting to internal and external stakeholders, covering status, risks, decisions and outlook - no surprises.\n\nFacilitate project reviews, steering meetings and technical workshops with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.\n\nManage scope changes formally: document, assess impact, obtain approvals and update the baseline - avoiding scope creep and protecting project margins.\n\nLead cross-functional project teams spanning engineering, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, commissioning and service - align priorities, resolve blockers and keep everyone moving in the same direction.\n\nCoordinate with supply chain, manufacturing and other operational functions to protect material availability and ensure project readiness.\n\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, internal quality standards and relevant safety and regulatory requirements.\n\nOrganise structured handover of completed projects to operations, service or the customer's own teams, ensuring all required documentation is in place.\n\nMaintain a live risk register; present risks and mitigation options clearly to support management decisions - don't sit on problems.\n\nCapture lessons learned from each project and actively feed them back into improved processes, templates and project planning assumptions.\n\nContribute to the development of project management standards, tools and best practices within the organisation.\n\nBenefits\nEnjoy 5 extra days of paid holiday!
