Join us and, together, we'll advance your career.\n\nSr AI/ML Compiler Engineer\n\nThe Role\n\nAMD is looking for an influential software engineer role to enable AI acceleration at scale. You will be a member of the core team, working on developing ML tools and methodologies to optimize and realize full system performance for AI workloads on Ryzen AI SoC. Working on the latest AI models addressing vision, language, and generative models, working with the leading engineers in AMD's CPU, GPU, and Adaptable Compute team\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nContribute to the development and maintenance of AMD's AI compilers, and runtime.\nConsistently research and implement methods to improve performance of our solutions. \nStay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to ML algorithms and architectures.\nOptimizing current system and research alternative, more efficient ways for same goals. \nDevelop technical relationships with peers and partners. \nWork with AMD's architecture specialists to improve future products.\n\nPreferred Experience\n\nStrong object-oriented programming background, C/C++ preferred with 6+ years of industry experience\nGood understanding of object-oriented design principles \nGood understanding of Software Engineering principles, Data structure, algorithms, Operating Systems concepts and multithread programming\nAbility to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail.\nKnowledge of AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNXRuntime, TVM, MLIR\nFamiliar with key ML operations like GEMM, CONV.\nUnderstanding the performance implications on AI acceleration of different compute, memory, and communication configurations and hardware and software implementation choices. \nExperience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers. \nEffective communication and problem-solving skills\n\nAcademic Credentials\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\n\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
