This role will be based in the St. Louis, MO (or Boulder, CO) office and will provide remote support to the other two sites. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in accounting and/or finance and be able to travel on an as-needed basis.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSupport the Finance Controller to create financial annual operating plans for each fiscal year\nSupport the Finance Controller to create forecasts for the operations, perform variance analysis, and provide bridges to explain variances and changes in forecast\nResponsible for tracking capital expenditures and collaborating with Site Directors and Facilities Leader to forecast CapEx cashflows\nManage Construction in Progress account and serve as the liaison with Inotiv’s Accounting team on asset capitalization and disposals\nServe as on-site Finance point of contact for the Boulder, CO site and drive continuous process improvement in all aspects of the business\nAttend to government, SoX, and financial statement audits as applicable to each of the sites\nSupport Discovery and Translational Sciences leadership in Strategic Growth Initiatives with business case analysis and long range planning targets\nPerform other duties as assigned\nSkills and Abilities\nAbility to understand, summarize, and communicate financial information, including financial analysis, assumptions, and outcomes\nComfort with obtaining, reconciling, and analyzing data to be used for business decisions\nProficient in utilizing Excel for data analysis and graphic depiction of business results, trends, and forecasts\nExperience in life sciences or a contract research organization is a plus, but not required\nInteract with clients, other employees, and the community in a professional manner\nEffective organizational, written, and oral communication skills\nAbility to adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and procedures\nMaintain confidential information\nSupport and participate in other company initiatives as directed\nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English\nDemonstrate Inotiv Core Values and adhere to Code of Conduct\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor of Science in the fields of accounting and/or finance\n3+ years of related experience\nExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and D365 ERP accounting system is a must\nProven ability to work cross-functionally\nCertified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant preferred, but not required\nPhysical Activity and Working Conditions\nWork is normally performed in a typical interior office\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer\nThe noise level is usually moderate\nRequires moderate physical activity with frequent talking, standing, walking and repetitive movement of hands and fingers, reaching and lifting 10 -20 pounds.\nSalary will be commensurate with experience and responsibilities. The pay range will be between $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
