We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.\nInova PRN Benefits and Perks:\nState-of-the-art medical and training facilities \nRetirement benefits with match from day one\nFree Parking to all employees\nExclusive savings opportunities to in-store events, theme parks, discounts, movie tickets and local offerings and so much more!\nDiagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist Job Responsibilities:\nDemonstrates a thorough understanding of Imaging principles, theory, anatomy, and pathology processes while utilizing the most appropriate techniques and/or positioning for optimal examinations, as demonstrated by exam results.\nCommunicates effectively with patients to obtain clinical history/informed consent from patients, or patients' charts, to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination, as evidenced by the exam results.\nDemonstrates the effective use of radiation protection procedures with collimation devices and protective shielding, as evidenced by incidence reports.\nMaintains an orderly, safe, and clean environment. Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies for procedures.\nAdditional Qualifications:\nEducation: Graduate of an accredited school/program of radiography.\n Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Imaging experience in an applicable modality (Cat Scan, Mammography, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine in a hospital/healthcare environment\nCertification: Basic Life Support Upon Start within 3 Months of hire; Upon start, ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training; Additional training in one or more modality will be completed within one year of hire into position.
