This role will be PRN, Days Vary\nThe Life Support Instructor 4 teaches Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/ or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.\nFeatured Benefits:\nRetirement: Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions - starting on your first day.\nMental Health Support: offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.\nLife Support Instructor 4 Job Responsibilities:\nTeaches Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) classes.\nPerforms necessary administrative functions in accordance with educational program policies.\nEnsures equipment is will maintained and in working order.\nMaintains professional status to ensure the highest quality educational programs.\nAdheres to AHA and Inova Health System/ Inova Well Training Center policies and procedures.\nTeaches a minimum of 25 hours per quarter, although the ideal candidate will be available to teach 1-2 days per month. \nMaintains excellent records and organizes classes. \nAdheres to AHA and Inova Health System/ Inova Well Training Center policies and procedures.\nMinimum Requirements:\nCertification: Must hold a current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor Card and/or a current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Instructor Card upon start.\nExperience: Must have experience in working in a clinical setting for example;
