Our culture is customer-driven, team-oriented, and built on win-win partnerships.\nThe Mark Andy P4 Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for independently operating a Mark Andy Performance Series P4 flexographic press to produce high-quality pressure-sensitive labels and packaging products that meet customer specifications, production schedules, and quality standards. The Extended Content Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining flexographic printing presses that produce high-quality extended content labels, including booklet, peel-and-reseal, and multi-layer labels. This role ensures all products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production schedules while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.\nResponsibilities\nSet up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses producing extended content labels.\nRead and interpret job tickets, specifications, artwork, and production schedules.\nInstall printing plates, inks, dies, and substrates according to job requirements.\nMaintain proper color registration, print quality, and die-cut accuracy throughout production.\nPerform press adjustments to optimize print quality and production efficiency.\nTroubleshoot and correct print issues quickly to minimize downtime and material waste.\nComplete routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.\nMeet daily production and efficiency goals.\nRequirements\nExperience with extended content labels, booklet labels, or peel-and-reseal labels is highly desirable.\nMust have a good understanding of flexographic printing processes, color management, and press mechanics.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.\nProblem-solving mindset with a commitment to efficiency and quality.\nAbility to lift, stand, and work physically as required for press operation.\nTeam-oriented with excellent communication skills.\nPreferred\nExperience operating Mark Andy P4, P5, P7, or P9 presses.\nExperience printing pressure-sensitive labels.\nExperience with UV flexographic printing.\nColor management experience.\nLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.\nPhysical Requirements\nStand for extended periods.\nLift up to 50 pounds.\nFrequently bend, twist, push, and reach.\nDistinguish color accurately.\nSafely work around moving machinery.\nWear required PPE.\nSuccess in This Role\nA successful Mark Andy P4 Flexographic Press Operator consistently produces high-quality printed products while maintaining safety, efficiency, and productivity.
