This position plays a critical role in identifying print defects, verifying product accuracy, and ensuring only compliant products reach our customers. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, strong quality awareness, and the ability to operate rewind and inspection equipment efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEssential Responsibilities\nOperate label rewind and inspection equipment to inspect finished labels prior to shipment. \nPerform 100% visual inspection of printed labels for quality and accuracy. \nVerify customer specifications including: Color consistency \nRegistration \nPrint quality \nVariable data \nBarcode readability \nDie-cut accuracy \nLabel count \nCore size \nRoll direction \nSplice requirements \n\nIdentify defects including: Missing print \nInk smears \nColor variation \nRegistration issues \nDie-cut defects \nMissing labels \nContamination \nPrint imperfections \n\nRemove defective material and ensure only conforming product is shipped. \nAccurately complete quality documentation and production records. \nLabel, package, and prepare finished rolls for shipment according to customer specifications. \nCommunicate quality concerns to Production, Quality Assurance, and Supervisors. \nMaintain work area cleanliness and organization. \nFollow all safety, GMP, and company quality procedures. \nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality and reduce waste. \nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED. \nManufacturing or printing experience preferred. \nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify print defects. \nAbility to read work orders and customer specifications. \nBasic math and measurement skills. \nAbility to work independently while maintaining productivity. \nStrong communication and teamwork skills. \nPreferred\nExperience operating label rewind or inspection equipment. \nExperience in flexographic or digital label printing. \nKnowledge of pressure-sensitive labels. \nFamiliarity with barcode verification and quality inspection procedures. \nPrevious quality control or manufacturing inspection experience. \nPhysical Requirements\nStand for extended periods. \nFrequently lift up to 40 pounds. \nBend, reach, twist, and move throughout the production area. \nExcellent color vision and visual acuity. \nAbility to perform repetitive hand movements. \nAbility to safely operate manufacturing equipment. \nSuccess in This Role\nA successful Quality Rewind Operator consistently identifies quality issues before products reach the customer while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
