This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern software development tools, participate in agile development teams, and contribute to real-world projects that serve both our internal users and clients in the nuclear power industry.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with developers and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs.\nPerform coding, debugging, and unit testing using C#, .NET, and Angular.\nAssist in SQL Server database development and troubleshooting.\nAnalyze and resolve application and system issues reported through our Service Desk.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to work defined by user stories.\nDocument code changes and support application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps.\nTechnical Environment and Tools:\nLanguages & Frameworks: C#, .NET/.NET Core, Entity Framework, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, Angular.\n Development Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio 2022/2024, Azure DevOps (ADO), Git.\n Database: Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).\nOther Tools & Platforms: Liferay DXP, FileNet, Kong API Gateway, Data Virtualization technologies.\n Methodologies: Agile (Scrum), ITIL/ITSM for service management.\nQualifications:\nEnrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nBasic understanding of object-oriented programming and web technologies.\nFamiliarity with SQL and relational databases.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nWhat You’ll Gain:\nReal-world experience in full-stack application development.\nMentorship from experienced developers and IT professionals.\nExposure to agile software development practices and enterprise-level software tools.\nOpportunities to contribute to meaningful software used by internal staff and global partners in the nuclear industry.\nHiring And Benefits\nThe cooperative program rotation is every other semester. You will be asked to work one semester and return to school the following semester (one semester on/one semester off) for three (3) semesters of work in the organization with satisfactory performance.\nPay starts at $20 an hour and goes up a dollar every semester. Each co-op is eligible for an end of the semester performance bonus. Performance includes a variety of factors such as customer satisfaction surveys, special projects, attitude, teamwork and punctuality. Co-ops participate in mid-semester touch points to review their progress in the program and personal areas of strength and areas for improvement. This allows for any necessary performance modification before the end of semester review. At the end of each semester there is a formal review where performance bonuses are given out. Co-ops are invited back based on their performance. If the co-op does not perform well in the role, INPO has the option not to extend an invitation to return for subsequent semesters.\nAdditional Requirements\nEmployment is dependent upon successfully completing a pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test. • This position may require obtaining unescorted access status. • This position requires direct or indirect access to certain export-controlled technology, for which INPO may be required to obtain an export license in accordance with applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations.
