The employee will develop knowledge of applicable requirements, systems, and processes to support assigned regulatory compliance activities.Responsibilities\nPosition ResponsibilitiesNew Chemical and Product Evaluations: Assist with gathering and organizing chemical data and product composition information and coordinate with the Regulatory Affairs Team and internal stakeholders as directed.\nRegulatory Compliance Requests (RCRs): Support assigned RCR activities including gathering information, conducting reviews, preparing documentation, and tracking requests.\nReporting: Assist with regulatory monitoring, data collection, and reporting activities. Support assigned regulatory projects and coordinate with consultants as directed.\nData Gathering: Gather, organize, and review compositional, toxicological, and other relevant data used for SDSs, labels, applications, and regulatory reporting.\nChemical Data Management: Support new and existing systems, tools, and processes for chemical and SDS management; research, analyze, and assist with implementations and updates as assigned.\nProject Support: Complete assigned projects and activities accurately and within established timelines under the direction of the Regulatory Affairs Manager.\nMeetings: Participate in team meetings and assigned project discussions and provide updates on assigned activities.\nContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving routine workflows and processes and provide suggestions to the Regulatory Affairs Manager and team.\n· Training: Complete foundational training associated with assigned responsibilities and required company training to build the knowledge needed to support assigned regulatory activities; assist with information sharing among departments as requested.Procedures: Assist with the development, review, and maintenance of procedures, work instructions, forms, and workflows.\nAssessments: Assist with internal compliance reviews, assessments, and information gathering to support regulatory compliance and process improvement.\nOnsite Support and Coordination: Provide onsite support for routine regulatory compliance activities and coordinate with site personnel as directed by the Regulatory Affairs Manager.\nTypical Work Schedule, Location, and Travel\nThis position is expected to work 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 3 days onsite required.\nRoutine travel is not expected; occasional travel may be required for training, seminars, special assignments, or meetings.\nPhysical and Other DemandsAbility to lift or move light items, such as files or laptops, typically less than 10 lbs.\nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or participating in virtual meetings.\nRepetitive hand and finger movements for typing, mouse use, and handling paperwork.\nFrequent use of computers, keyboards, and other office equipment for data entry, document review, and related tasks.\nExposure to site operations that may require the use of PPE.\n Organizational StructureThis position reports to the Regulatory Affairs Manager, JSR Micro Inc.\nThe position works closely with the Regulatory Affairs Manager, Regulatory Affairs Team, and onsite personnel.\nThis position provides site-based support for Inpria or JSR Micro operations, depending on the employee’s primary onsite location, with as-needed support for other JSR sites.\nThe position operates under the direction of the Regulatory Affairs Manager and works within established regulatory, safety, and company procedures.\nRequirements\n· A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant technical or regulatory experience in the chemical, semiconductor, or a related industry. Internships, academic assignments, or comparable experience may be considered.· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat, with the ability to develop intermediate-level skills.\n· Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred but not required.\n· Complete training and learn to apply US DOT, IATA, and IMDG hazardous materials transportation requirements.\n· Complete assigned training and develop a working knowledge of OSHA Hazard Communication (HazCom) requirements.\nDevelop and apply a working knowledge of product safety and compliance requirements for applicable processes and operations.\n· Learn and use Microsoft Access or other database tools to improve efficiency in managing regulatory and chemical compliance information.Learn and apply JSR systems and processes for RCRs, SDS management, authoring, and process control.\nAbility to follow established procedures, identify issues, gather relevant information, and seek guidance when needed.\nEducation Qualifications (Minimum)\nBS in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science) or other science-based degree.\nKey Competencies · Communication\n· Self-Management\n· Collaboration, Teamwork, and Interpersonal\n· Problem-Solving\n· Learning Agility\n· Attention to Detail\n· Flexibility\nWhy JSR Micro\nAt JSR Micro, you will be part of a global leader in semiconductor materials, contributing to advanced technologies that power innovation worldwide.
