research, analyze, and assist with implementations and updates as needed.\nProject Management: Manage assigned projects and activities effectively and on time.\nMeetings: Participate in periodic meetings and assigned project discussions, coordinating with team members as needed.\nContinuous Improvement Initiatives: Recommend and lead initiatives to improve departmental workflows and processes.\nTraining: Provide training and guidance to other team members and departments, as assigned.\nProcedures: Identify and contribute to the development and review of procedures, work instructions, and workflows.\nAssessments: Assist with internal reviews for process improvements and compliance assurance.\nOnsite Support and Coordination: Provide onsite operational support and coordinate on regulatory matters.\nTypical Work Schedule, Location, and Travel\nThis position is expected to work 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 3 days onsite required.\nRoutine travel is not expected; occasional travel may be required for training, seminars, special assignments, or meetings. \nPhysical and Other Demands\nAbility to lift or move light items, such as files or laptops, typically less than 10 lbs. \nAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or participating in virtual meetings. \nRepetitive hand and finger movements for typing, mouse use, and handling paperwork. \nFrequent use of computers, keyboards, and other office equipment for data entry, document review, and related tasks. \nExposure to site operations that may require use of PPE.\n What You Bring\n• At least 5 years of proven technical or regulatory experience in the chemical, semiconductor, or a related industry.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, intermediate Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.\n• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (preferred but not required).\n• Complete training and apply US DOT, IATA, and IMDG hazmat transportation requirements.\n• Complete training and develop working knowledge of OSHA HazCom requirements to support site-level implementation.\n• Develop and apply working knowledge of product safety and compliance requirements for applicable processes and operations.\n• Learn and use Microsoft Access or other database tools to improve efficiency in managing regulatory and chemical compliance information.\n• Learn and apply JSR systems for RCRs, SDS management, authoring, and process control.\nEducation Qualifications (Minimum)\nBS in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science) or other science-based degree.\nKey Competencies\nBelow are the key characteristics, skills, and behaviors required for the role:\nCommunication: Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, colleagues, site-level management, and other departments.\nSelf-Management: Manages assignments independently and follows through on priorities.\nCollaboration and Teamwork: Follows direction and works collaboratively with team members and cross-functional partners.\nProblem-Solving: Identifies issues and suggests appropriate methods to manage or resolve them.\nFlexibility: Works efficiently and effectively in onsite and hybrid work settings.\nInterpersonal: Builds positive working relationships and contributes as a team player. Your Compensation & Benefits Package\nIn compliance with California law, the pay range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. Compensation is based on job-related factors including skills, experience, and internal equity.
