A major part of the responsibilities will include assembling precision mechanical assemblies for electron sources operating at up to 200 kV. Communication skills are highly prized, and will help you succeed in coordinating with team members on various tasks, as are attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to established protocols.\nResponsibilities\nInspect quality of incoming parts.\nAssemble mechanical and electrical parts and sub-assemblies.\nOccasionally perform light machine shop duties such as operating drills, sanders, and material cutting equipment.\nMaintain good house-keeping and organization of work area.\nReads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.\nCleans and maintains equipment, including tools.\nPrepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.\nVerifies specifications by measuring completed component.\nConserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.\nDocuments actions by completing production and quality forms.\nQualifications\nAA degree or higher required, training will be provided. Assembly experience is a plus.\nBeing able to read, understand, and follow detailed engineering drawings and process specifications is a strong plus.\nHigh degree of hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity.\nGood organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently and ask for guidance when appropriate.\nMust be reliable and commit to a consistent schedule.\nAbility to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.\nAbility to work well with others.\nAt Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $51,300 and $91,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
