This is a high-impact, high-ownership role with direct influence over the architecture and future of InsForge.\n What you'll do\n Design and build the compute runtime powering InsForge\n Build container scheduling, placement, autoscaling, and lifecycle management\n Improve cold starts, provisioning speed, and deployment reliability\n Design systems for stateful and stateless workloads\n Build networking primitives including service discovery, load balancing, and private networking\n Work closely with Linux, containers, microVMs, and virtualization technologies\n Optimize storage systems, snapshots, cloning, and persistent volumes\n Improve platform observability, debugging, monitoring, and operational tooling\n Write design documents that take projects from proposal to production\n What we're looking for\n We’re looking for engineers who enjoy building infrastructure from first principles.\n You probably have:\n Strong understanding of distributed systems\n Experience building production infrastructure or platform software\n Deep knowledge of Linux internals\n Experience with containers, Kubernetes, Docker, Firecracker, or virtualization technologies\n Familiarity with networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, DNS, and service discovery\n Excellent written communication and system design skills\n Bonus points if you have
