About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who can keep people, processes, projects, and priorities moving without constant supervision. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily workflows, identify operational inefficiencies, implement practical solutions, and support business leadership with operational planning and cross-team accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow & Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day business operations and workflows, ensuring tasks and key deliverables stay on track.
Team & Project Coordination: Coordinate people, processes, projects, and deadlines across teams while fostering operational accountability.
Process Improvement & SOPs: Identify inefficiencies, implement practical operational improvements, and create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Problem Solving & Support: Support leadership with operational planning and execution, troubleshoot operational issues, and find proactive solutions.
Reporting & Systems: Support the implementation of systems, tools, and processes while providing regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
⭐ Core Requirements:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations, business operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
Skills & Mindset: Proactive, self-directed approach with exceptional organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Communication: Professional written and spoken English communication skills.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Tech & AI Proficiency: Comfortable using modern workplace technology, software, and AI tools.
Workplace Setup: Based in South Africa with an owned reliable laptop, fast and stable internet connection, and full commitment to U.S. business hours.
Preferred:
Prior experience working with U.S. or international remote teams.
