Your responsibilities will include:\nPlaying a pivotal role in monthly revenue and commission close procedures, including preparing journal entries, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring compliance.\nCollaborating with multiple departments to gather transaction information, investigate reconciling items, and address discrepancies.\nManaging account balances by reconciling, researching, and resolving discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.\nOverseeing the invoicing process, including issuing invoices via municipal platforms or NetSuite and understanding taxation-how taxes are calculated based on revenue and the different types of taxes.\nManaging accounts payable, maintaining close relationships with the accounting team, and coordinating payment schedules.\nHandling accounts receivable, including the collection process, issuing formal protests for overdue invoices, and ensuring cash flow consistency.\nConducting bank reconciliations to validate payments and outstanding balances.\nDeveloping and implementing financial policies when necessary to support the team and improve efficiency.\nWe want to hear from you if you;\nHold or is finishing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, or a related field.\nAre a fast learner with a proactive, dynamic, and self-directed approach.\nHave up to 2 years of experience in similar roles or are a new graduate eager to learn.\nAre detail-oriented and highly organized.\nHave a good understanding of how invoicing works, including processes through platforms like municipal systems or NetSuite.\nUnderstand taxation concepts, such as revenue-based tax calculations and tax types.\nAre familiar with SaaS companies (a plus).\nHave experience with accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.\nPossess advanced English proficiency (Spanish is a plus).\nEnjoy working in a multicultural environment and can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, startup environment.\nHold on!
