This role will serve as a Nutanix subject-matter expert, helping clients transition from VMware environments to Nutanix and OpenShift platforms.\nThe ideal candidate will have deep Nutanix architecture and deployment experience, a strong understanding of VMware solutions, and hands-on experience planning and executing large-scale VMware-to-Nutanix migrations.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect, design, and deploy enterprise Nutanix solutions.\nLead migrations from VMware environments to Nutanix, including planning, design, deployment, and post-migration validation.\nAssess existing VMware environments and develop strategies and methodologies for transitioning workloads to Nutanix.\nProvide subject-matter expertise across Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Element, and Prism Central.\nUtilize Nutanix Move or similar migration tools to support workload migrations.\nDevelop architecture designs, implementation plans, migration strategies, and technical documentation.\nSupport projects involving Nutanix and Red Hat OpenShift environments.\nProvide expertise across enterprise compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery.\nLead technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, design reviews, and migration planning with enterprise clients.\nTroubleshoot complex infrastructure and migration issues throughout implementation.\nPartner with project teams, engineers, and client stakeholders to successfully deliver large-scale infrastructure transformation projects.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong hands-on experience architecting and deploying Nutanix enterprise environments.\nDeep knowledge of Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Element, and Prism Central.\nProven experience with VMware-to-Nutanix migrations.\nStrong understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere and ESXi.\nExperience assessing VMware environments and developing migration strategies to Nutanix.\nExperience with Nutanix Move or similar migration technologies.\nStrong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery.\nExperience creating architecture designs, implementation plans, and migration documentation.\nStrong client-facing communication, consulting, and technical leadership skills.\nExperience supporting complex enterprise infrastructure projects.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).\nExperience with Red Hat OpenShift environments.\nExperience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.\nExperience with AWS or Azure hybrid cloud environments.\nNutanix certifications such as NCP, NCAP, or NCX.\nVMware and/or Red Hat certifications.\nInsight is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected by law.\n Insight does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
