However, employees who reside within a 40-mile radius of one of our office locations in Tampa, FL; Canonsburg, PA; or Bowie, MD will follow a hybrid work schedule and are expected to work in the office two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).\nOverview: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of specific projects and initiatives ensuring consistency with the company’s overall strategy and goals. This position will be responsible for creating project plans, tracking progress, communicating with stakeholders, and removing any barriers that might prevent the success of the project being delivered on-time and on-budget. The Senior Project Manager analyzes existing business processes to gain a complete understanding of current procedures to provide recommendations for improvements, and often works with cross-functional and technical teams and is a major contributor to identifying, defining, and implementing system solutions. This role understands the business and ensures there is alignment between the business functions and technology to support the business goals.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with executive leadership to align project priorities with organizational goals and strategies.\n\nLead concurrent cross-functional project teams in defining the project scope and objectives, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved according to the RACI.\n\nCreate a project charter and detailed project plan that identifies all the tasks and milestones involved in successfully completing the project.\n\nDevelop project communication plans and coordinate across departments and business units partnering with clients as needed, while maintaining positive and productive working relationships.\n\nTrack and report on project progress and deliverables providing updates to key stakeholders, including executive leadership, and holding teams/individuals accountable to their commitments ensuring the project is delivered on-time and on-budget.\n\nPerform risk management, resolve issues, manage deviations, remove roadblocks, and solve problems throughout the project cycle.\n\nLead, coach, and motivate members of the project team with a positive attitude.\n\nMay mentor and develop more junior project management staff.\n\nLeverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work.\n\nDevelop tools and apply best practices as needed throughout the project life cycle including post- project evaluations and results assessments (lessons learned), incorporating feedback into future projects.\n\nManage the impact of projects on operational processes and partner with business users to identify areas of process improvements, recommending solutions through automation by applying lean concepts.\n\nMay lead or contribute to the development of detailed business requirements by partnering with the business and stakeholders to understand their needs.\n\nMay oversee and help in the translation of business requirements into functional specifications in collaboration with technical teams, subject matter experts, and project team members.\n\nAnalyzes business processes, organizational structure, goals, and procedures to identify and develop strategies to improve efficiency and cross-functional collaboration within the business.\n\nMay also lead the implementation of the identified solutions including system testing, facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-user training, documentation, and other support as needed.\n\nMaintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement.\n\nAdhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.\n\nFulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.\n\nJob Requirements:\nMinimum of 5+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering concurrent, cross-departmental, complex projects and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on driving results.\n\nSelf-motivated and organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time, and communicate progress in a fast-paced environment.\n\nComfortable interacting with a variety of skill levels and leadership levels with a demonstrated ability to lead through influence.\n\nProven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Office 365 including MS Project, MS SharePoint, Excel, Word, MS Planner, Viva Goals, and Visio.\n\nQuick learner, with good technical and business acumen.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nExperience in a medium to large-size company and healthcare/biomedical related business experience preferred.\n\nEducation:\nBA/BS Degree or equivalent is required.\n\nPMP (PMI), CBAP (IIBA) or equivalent certification a plus.\n\nAgile Scrum or Scaled Agile certification or experience a plus.\n\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\nSedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time).\n\nFrequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.\n\nSubject to inside environmental conditions.\n\nTravel for this position will include up to 10%.\n\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (e.g. H-1B, TN, or E-3).
