The Inovalon ONE® Platform brings together national-scale connectivity, real-time primary source data access, and advanced analytics to enable improved clinical outcomes and economics across the healthcare ecosystem. \nThe position is in the Data Platform Engineering team, which is helping our customers engineer smart and well-informed decisions, by harvesting the power of diverse and well-curated healthcare data, at scale.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, deploy, test, support technical solutions using Java full-stack development tools and technologies\n\nDesign and develop user friendly, responsive web interfaces using modern web application frameworks\n\nUtilize programming languages like Java, SQL, Python (for the backend) and JavaScript, HTML/CSS (for the frontend)\n\nShould have expert level knowledge in RDBMS/SQL and NoSQL databases\n\nDeploy the micro services seamlessly using Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS managed services and tools\n\nAdept at troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performance issues\n\nShould be a team player and excel in fast-paced agile environments\n\nExpecting a fast learner by keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in backend and front-end development.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOne of the following degrees (preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Electronics or Electrical Engineering):\nBachelor of Technology (BTech) or Master of Technology (MTech) or\n\nBachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Sciences (MS) or\n\nMaster of Computer Applications (MCA)\n\nPreferred Skills (Must Have):\n8+ years of experience in Enterprise Java development\n\n5+ Years experience with Angular\n\nExtensive experience in SQL and NoSQL technologies\n\nDemonstrated experience in Caching, queuing, scheduling, concurrent and event-driven architectures\n\nDemonstrated experience of developing applications on/for Linux platforms\n\nShould have proven track record of implementing distributed systems and microservice architectures (RESTful APIs)\n\nInvolved knowledge of best practices for implementing secure web applications\n\nStrong experience with AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure, GCP and/or other clouds\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment techniques\n\nNice to have skills:\nExperience in data pipelines would be an added advantage.\n\nExperience in Big Data technologies like Snowflake, Datastax would be a plus\n\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (e.g. H-1B, TN, or E-3).
