The role focuses on multi-cluster AKS design, regional cluster stamps, GitOps, workload identity, ingress, container registry, policy, observability, resilience, and operational readiness.\nAlong the way, you will get to:\n[Design and implement production AKS clusters across multiple Azure regions and availability zones. \nCreate standardized regional AKS stamps using Terraform/Bicep and automated deployment pipelines. \nImplement GitOps-based workload deployment using Flux, Argo CD, or equivalent tooling. \nDesign node pools, autoscaling, upgrades, maintenance windows, pod disruption, scheduling, and cluster resiliency. \nImplement Entra Workload Identity, managed identities, Key Vault integration, CSI drivers, and secret-management patterns. \nEngineer ingress/egress using Application Gateway, NGINX, service mesh where applicable, and Azure Front Door/global routing integrations. \nImplement ACR, image pull, image governance, vulnerability scanning, and regional image availability patterns. \nBuild observability using Azure Monitor, Container Insights, managed Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and log aggregation. \nSupport workload migration, Helm modernization, persistent storage decisions, configuration externalization, and regional portability. \nTroubleshoot production Kubernetes networking, DNS, identity, scaling, storage, and deployment failures. \nBe AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. When you bring your hunger, heart, and harmony to Insight, your potential will be met with continuous opportunities to upskill, earn promotions, and elevate your career.\nWhat we’re looking for\n10+ years of software engineering experience, including designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems in cloud-native environments. \nExpert-level proficiency in Go (Golang) with a strong background building microservices, APIs, and highly available backend platforms. \nDeep experience designing, deploying, and operating Kubernetes environments, including cluster architecture, networking, security, observability, autoscaling, and production support. Relevant technologies frequently include AKS, Helm, GitOps, and containerized workloads. \nExtensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as AKS, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, and cloud infrastructure automation. \nStrong expertise in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices using tools such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and GitOps deployment models. \nProven ability to lead technical architecture decisions, establish engineering standards, mentor senior engineers, and drive the adoption of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions. \nExperience building resilient, enterprise-grade systems with a focus on security, performance, observability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence. \nStrong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including distributed systems design, event-driven architectures, API development, and cloud security best practices. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with service mesh technologies, Kubernetes operators, and platform engineering initiatives. \nKnowledge of Azure security and identity services, including Entra ID, RBAC, and workload identities. \nExperience supporting AI/ML, data, or high-throughput SaaS workloads in Kubernetes environments. \nAzure Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. \nWho You Are\nA capable technologist who communicates clearly with engineers, architects, and stakeholders. \nComfortable operating in delivery-focused environments with guidance from senior leaders. \nCollaborative and effective working within cross-functional teams. \nMotivated to grow through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on experience. \nDriven to build real-world AI systems that deliver measurable business value. \nWhat you can expect\n We’re legendary for taking care of you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
