Lead Procurement activities from early R&D through Transfer to Production (TTP/NPI), production launch and TTP completion.\n· Partner with R&D and Engineering to evaluate and source new technologies, Electronics components, Mechanical modules, Compos Materials and top-level turnkey assemblies.\n· Develop and execute NPI Procurement plans and commodity strategies aligned with product roadmaps, budgets and program milestones.\n· Lead global suppliers selection process, including identification, evaluation and selection.\n· Lead RFQs, Commercial negotiation, Contractual process, including NDAs, Supply Agreements.\n· Drive BOM cost optimization analysis, total cost of ownership assessments, design-to-cost and make-or-buy recommendations.\n· Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Legal and Finance to align procurement strategies and program execution, ensuring achievement of cost, quality, delivery and supplier readiness targets.\n· Drive early supplier involvement and design-for-manufacturability reviews with Engineering and Quality.\n· Manage supplier relationships, deliverables, capacity commitments and performance.\n· Ensure material availability for prototypes and coordinate supplier qualification and first article activities.\n· Manage supply risks and business continuity plans, including long lead times, single-source dependencies, capacity constraints and obsolescence.\n· Communicate Program status, critical supply issues and mitigation plans to management and cross-functional stakeholders.\n· Maintain accurate Procurement data in ERP system and release purchase orders as required.\n· Develop innovative Procurement Processes, using AI tools.\n· Monitor market and technology trends and drive continuous improvement in Procurement processes and analytics.\nRequirements\n· B.Sc. in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent education.\n· 10+ years of NPI procurement experience in global manufacturing organizations.\n· 3+ years of experience in medical device industry, familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulation\n· Proven experience leading procurement programs from development through mass production.\n· Strong technical understanding of PCBAs, mechanical parts, compos material, cables and electromechanical assemblies, including manufacturing process and cost drivers.\n· Experience managing contract manufacturers and sourcing top-level turnkey assemblies or systems.\n· Proven expertise in commodity strategy, global sourcing, supplier selection and supplier performance management.\n· Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with demonstrated cost optimization achievements.\n· Experience TCO, BOM cost management and make-or-buy assessments.\n· Strong program management skills, including milestone planning, risk management and cross-functional coordination.\n· Ability to influence and lead global teams without direct authority.\n· Strong analytical skills, business acumen, independent decision-making and ownership.\n· Experience with Priority ERP system and AI.\n· Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills.\nAdvantages:\n· Experience in the medical device industry, Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulation\n· Experience with supplier qualification, manufacturing transfers and production
