This includes managing income tax filings, tax provisioning support, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors for global subsidiaries. The role offers a dynamic work environment within a multinational corporation operating in over 100 countries.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist in preparation of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns, withholding tax compliance, and advance tax calculations and payments.\nSupport tax provision workings for statutory and group reporting purposes (ASC 740 / IAS 12).\nAssist in maintaining and reconciling tax accounts; ensure proper supporting documentation.\nLiaise with internal stakeholders (R2R, FP&A, Treasury, Stat. CoE) and external consultants for accurate and timely tax reporting.\nSupport tax audits, assessments, and inquiries from tax authorities across jurisdictions.\nAssist in implementation and testing of tax process improvements or automation initiatives.\nProvide support to the team wherever required, including ad hoc assignments, data requests, and cross-functional collaboration.\nQualifications\n2-5 years of relevant experience in global income tax or multinational environment.\nKnowledge of direct taxation laws and accounting standards.\nStrong problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and time-management skills.\nAdditional Information\nOur Benefits\nFlexible working environment\nVolunteer time off\nLinkedIn Learning\nEmployee-Assistance-Program (EAP)\nNIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
