With over 60 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, the group supports public and industrial stakeholders in the execution of complex and strategic infrastructure projects, subject to high safety and security requirements.\nAssystem mobilizes 8,000 experts in 13 countries and intervenes across the entire project lifecycle, in engineering, project management and digital solutions.\nJob Description\nThe role of the APM supports the Client PM looking inward about delivery and performance (affordability challenge, completion of scope, keeping an eye on emerging Critical Works) The APM will support the PM to ensure the successful delivery of capital infrastructure projects and achieve project outputs.\nInfrastructure delivery is a challenging environment in which to work, with interdependencies between the required programmes and projects and the need to maintain military outputs. The candidate will be required to deliver at pace and demonstrate effective application of programme and project management skills, tools and techniques.\nThe aim is to provide flexible resource across the two projects to help with peaks of work and aspects of consistency\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the Project Manager (PM) and wider project team to successfully deliver project objectives.\n Assist with contract management and administration activities.\n Support project budget management, monitoring expenditure against approved budgets.\n Contribute to project assurance and gateway reviews, assessing progress, compliance, risks and delivery confidence.\n Ensure compliance with all client processes, procedures and infrastructure requirements.\n Monitor performance of internal teams, suppliers and technical support providers against contractual obligations.\n Build and maintain strong relationships with the supply chain throughout project delivery.\n Review and challenge cost and schedule estimates, identifying key milestones and critical dates.\n Track project financial performance, preparing reports and cost forecasts for stakeholders.\n Analyse financial metrics and trends to support cost forecasting and estimate final project costs accurately.\nReviews proposed changes and determines their high-level impact, requesting further information or clarification where necessary.
