You thrive in distributed teams and enjoy learning new technologies while contributing to stable and efficient cloud environments.\nNote: This role operates under a 6-month contract-to-hire model and requires on-site presence at our offices in Mexico City, Mexico, or São Paulo, Brazil.\nYou bring to Applaudo the following competencies:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.\n2+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related roles.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including API Management, App Service, Azure Functions, Storage, Redis, Event Hubs, Service Bus, and Azure AI Foundry.\nWorking knowledge of Terraform, including the ability to navigate, modify, and maintain complex infrastructure modules within existing codebases.\nExperience configuring Microsoft Entra ID app registrations and OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication.\nHands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.\nUnderstanding of DNS concepts and basic Azure troubleshooting using native cloud tools.\nExperience working with Linux environments and scripting using Bash or PowerShell, including generating reports through command-line tools.\nFamiliarity with Git workflows, branching strategies, and pull request processes.\nFunctional written and verbal English proficiency for collaboration with distributed teams.\nStrong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn.\nAbility to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with and receiving guidance from senior engineers.\nStrong verbal and written English communication skills.\nNice to Have:\nExposure to AWS or other cloud platforms.\nFamiliarity with ARM templates, Azure Policy, and Azure CLI.\nExperience deploying containerized applications.\nExposure to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Kubernetes.\nExperience reviewing application and infrastructure logs using Datadog or Azure Application Insights.\nBasic Python scripting skills.\nAzure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.\nYou will be accountable for the following responsibilities:\nDevelop, update, and maintain Terraform configurations within established infrastructure codebases.\nCollaborate with senior engineers to review infrastructure changes through Git-based pull request workflows.\nBuild, maintain, and troubleshoot GitHub Actions pipelines to support application deployments and releases.\nAssist with Azure environment configuration, infrastructure setup, and access management requests.\nConfigure Microsoft Entra ID app registrations and OIDC-based authentication for deployment workflows.\nDevelop Bash or PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks and generate reports.\nMonitor alerts using Datadog and Azure Monitor, perform initial incident triage, and assist with troubleshooting and resolution.\nInvestigate Azure infrastructure and application issues, identifying potential causes and escalating complex incidents when necessary.\nMaintain accurate runbooks, infrastructure documentation, and operational procedures.\nSupport routine cloud operations and infrastructure maintenance following established engineering standards.\nCollaborate with distributed engineering teams to ensure continuity of support and timely resolution of operational requests across time zones.\nTake ownership of assigned infrastructure and support activities while continuously improving technical knowledge and operational efficiency.\nQualifications\n2+ years of DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience.\nHands-on Microsoft Azure and Terraform experience.\nCI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.\nMicrosoft Entra ID, OIDC, and DNS fundamentals.\nLinux and Bash or PowerShell scripting.\nEnglish proficiency.\nAdditional Information\nAbout Us\nWe Are Engineered Different.\nAt Applaudo, talented people design, build, and scale meaningful, AI-powered solutions that create real business impact.
