Grow here.\nAECOM is seeking to recruit aCivil Engineer with a highways and drainage focus to join our busyCivils Team.\nThe team delivers a wide range of multidisciplinary, predominantly residential-led infrastructure projects. Our work spans early scoping and feasibility, technical support for planning, detailed infrastructure design for implementation, and ongoing support during construction.\nIn addition, the team supports AECOM design teams across the UK and Ireland on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects, including highways, rail, water infrastructure, and solar farms. We also provide civil engineering design support to our structural engineering colleagues on projects across commercial, education, leisure, defence, healthcare, and other government sectors.\nHere’s what you’ll do:\nThis role offers an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Civil Engineer to further develop their career, taking on increased responsibility for both technical delivery and project management.\nKey responsibilities include:\nAssist with and lead when required, the technical designs and digital delivery of civil engineering projects.\nPrepare and review survey specifications, including utilities and topographical surveys.\nCheck and coordinate the production of studies, assessments, and conceptual designs for development schemes (drainage, highways, utilities, earthworks, and flood risk).\nLiaise with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders to secure approvals and ensure compliance.\nAttend project meetings, and confidently communicate technical solutions.\nCome grow with us:\nAnd let's not forget about the perks at AECOM.
