Learn more at insightsoftware.com.\nJob Description:\nThe Junior Controller (Finland) - EMEA is responsible for compliance and operational accounting activities of the Insightsoftware EMEA entities notably in Finland, but may extend to other Nordics/EU countries where required. This role reports into the Director of EMEA & APAC Accounting & Integrations who is based in London. Ideally the candidate should reside in Helsinki and have the capacity to be entrusted with full compliance review and undertaking of our Finnish entity, and will potentially extend to a few other EU entities.\ninsightsoftware is looking for an experienced operational accountant to be a key member in the regional Accounting team, taking ownership of local compliance matters for this fast-growing financial technology company headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. The successful candidate will possess good attention to details and excellent communication / interpersonal skills.\nWhat would you do?\nExecute and ensure that the control environments are accurate and in compliance with local accounting standards and reporting requirements\nResponsible for the statutory financial statements and other compliance requirements in-country such as VAT compilations, government IDs and filings etc.\nLiaise with business owners to ensure that processes and deadlines are clearly understood and met\nCoordinate with our SSG India team to prepare audit schedules for local statutory audits\nProvide ad hoc financial analysis support to the Finance team and business as the need arises\nCollaborate to support transition of Treasury function and P2P accounting processes with collaboration with our SSG team based in India\nOther ad hoc and administrative duties pertaining to the execution of compliance matters\nHow will you do it?\nOrganization and Planning - Plan, organize and execute statutory and compliance related activities in an efficient, productive manner with focus on key priorities to ensure on time delivery of all statutory reporting requirements\nDrive and Discipline - Operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on getting the job done with clear and logical documentation of technical accounting decisions\nEnthusiasm - Exhibit passion and excitement and embrace a can-do attitude\nCommunication - Fluent in both Finnish and English language, ability to communicate both written and verbal\n Qualifications\nExperienced accountant with good knowledge of Treasury/ banking/ P2P process in Finland\nAbility to communicate freely verbally and in writing in both English and Finnish\nDemonstrate willingness to go beyond day to day tasks to unlock challenges and open up opportunities per insightsoftware needs\nExperience with NetSuite(desired but not a must)\nSalary range noted below is based on full time hours. This is a part time role\nThe salary range in Finland for this position is 40,000.00 to 50,000.00 EUR Annual.For sales roles, this range includes the commission target.
