# EHS Specialist - Contractor

Insitu’s world-class manufacturing facilities are located in Bingen, WA and deliver the highest quality products on time. We have a 12 month contract need for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to working onsite in Bingen, WA. What you’ll do: Perform Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities across multiple disciplines. Plans, implements and maintains a variety of company environmental, health and safety programs. Performs required testing programs and maintains documentation. Coordinates and conducts health and safety training/education for employees. Conducts compliance assessments and audits of facilities and operations, communicates results and maintains metrics. Performs root cause analysis and drafts corrective action plans. Assists in the evaluation of current policies, procedures, and documentation. Monitors chemicals, storage facilities and personal protective equipment. Education & Experience: 3-5 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1-3 years related experience with a Master's degree or comparable combination of education and experience.
