We are on a mission to be the world’s most trusted partner; developing and integrating world-class solutions that support customer success in the most challenging environments.\nDiscover a career in Aviation where you are a part of the UAS future while working in a supportive environment focused on Pioneering, Performing, Caring and Unity.\nAs a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the payroll team.\nWhat you’ll do:\nAssist in preparing routine company payroll, reviewing, and validating timesheets and routine employee status changes; assist in reconciling discrepancies.\nAssist in auditing, reconciling, and resolving straightforward payroll processing and prepares responses to routine employee payroll inquiries.\nAssist in the coordinating with system programmers to reconcile company payroll system issues. Assists in preparing responses to external auditing and regulatory inquiries.\nMay assist in the manual calculation of wages and post wage data for temporary work, bonuses, vacations, terminations, and special payroll requirements.\nAssist in verifying payroll reporting and payments are compliant with company policy, generally accepted accounting principles, and federal, state and IRS regulations.\nMark records for retention.\nEducation & Experience:\n3-5 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR; 1-3 years related experience with a Masters degree OR; a comparable combination of education and experience.\nKnowledge of how to implement/maintain/document effective internal controls and processes to ensure system integrity and compliance with accounting system requirements and company internal control guidelines and requirements.\nAbility to identify and resolve accounting system issues.\nAbility to support internal/external auditors and provide assistance regarding implementation and problem resolution.\nAbility to support development and deployment of accounting systems and tools.\nKnowledge of tax laws and codes.\nIn-Office Requirement Statement:\nWe let the type of work you do determine the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.\nThis role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2-3 times per year and therefore can be located anywhere within the continental United States.
