Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraints.\nKnowledge of programming languages (e.g., C++, C, C#, Assembly, Matlab).\nKnowledge of communications, networking, and protocols.\nKnowledge of computing equipment and its operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).\nAbility to integrate hardware and software components into a functional system.\nUnderstanding of computing machinery (memory, secondary storage, I/O, FPGA, processor, data bus, etc.) as it relates to software.\nExperience designing for resource constrained systems and experience with embedded and application software development.\nExperience with hands-on troubleshooting hardware and debugging software.\nExperience with safety critical systems a must.\nAbility to interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAble to work well individually or in a team.\nAbility to independently identify and address tasks.\nStrong organization and time management skills.\nWillingness to learn and contribute to a team environment.\nPreferred Education & Experience:\nMasters degree.\nPrevious experience in Aviation or Unmanned systems.\nPrevious experience mentoring junior software engineers.\nIn-Office Requirement Statement:\nThis position is eligible for hybrid work.
