Expectations for AP supervisors emphasize team oversight, talent development, process ownership, measurable performance, and accountability.\nThis position sits within our Atlanta based Global Support Center with an expectation to be onsite 4 days per week.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nLeadership & Team Development\nLead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals. \nEstablish clear goals, expectations, and accountability measures. \nFoster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service. \nConduct performance discussions, coaching sessions, and development planning. \nPromote cross-training and succession planning.\nAP Operations & Controls \nOversee the full Accounts Payable lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate invoice and payment processing. \nManage payment disbursements, including ACH, wire, check, and virtual card payments. \nEnsure compliance with SOX requirements, segregation of duties, and company financial controls. \nOversee annual 1099 reporting and unclaimed property processes. \nSupport internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness. \nProcess Improvement\nMonitor KPIs, service levels, and operational performance. \nIdentify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, controls, and stakeholder service. \nEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION QUALIFICATION\n7+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience with end-to-end AP process ownership. \n3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience. \nExperience managing payment disbursements, including ACH, wire, check, and virtual card payments. \nExperience with 1099 reporting, supplier tax compliance, and unclaimed property administration. \nExperience operating in a SOX-controlled environment. \nDemonstrated success developing teams and driving accountability. \nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES\nOracle Cloud or SAP Cloud experience is strongly preferred. \nStrong knowledge of Oracle AP invoice processing, payment processing, supplier management, workflows, and reporting. \nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills. \nLeadership & Team Building. \nAccountability & Results Orientation. \nFinancial Controls & Compliance.\nProcess Improvement. \nCommunication & Stakeholder Management. \nProblem Solving & Decision Making. \nDIRECT REPORTS\n1-2 direct reports.\nInspire is a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 33,300 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC restaurants worldwide.
