Our aim is to provide our graduating students with a passport to the best universities, colleges and careers around the world.\nWe are welcoming applications for a Bahraini Teaching Assistant - Infant School to join us in November 2026.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRoutine tasks\nSupport pupils during lessons as directed by the class teacher\nSupervise and teach individual, pairs or groups of children as required by the class teacher or line manager\nBe aware of the teacher’s weekly planning and be ready to assist with lesson preparation by preparing resources (Note. Preparation of ILN resources required by the TA will take priority).\nDisplay pupils’ work as requested and remove when necessary\nSupervise pupils in the communal areas to ensure a high standard of behaviour is maintained.\nProvide duty cover for absent colleagues when requested to do so by a line manager\nReward and sanction children in accordance with the school’s ‘Positive Behaviour’ policy to ensure the school’s high standards of behaviour and discipline are maintained.\nAct as a role model for pupils\nTo promote the school positively at all times\nTo work with colleagues in a spirit of mutual cooperation to maintain and enhance a pleasant professional working environment\nRefer comments, questions and complaints from parents directly to the class teacher.\nBe available for regular, weekly meetings with the class teacher\nTo undertake any other reasonable task as instructed by the Head of Infant School or any other line manager. \nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:\nSkills and Experience\nExperience in dealing with children in Infant school.\nAbility to work effectively both as part of a team and also independently.\nAbility to work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues within the school and parents.\nAbility to manage commitments and deadlines.\nCommitment to continuing personal and professional development.\nDemonstrated commitment to the highest standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and handling of confidential information.\nDemonstrated knowledge and experience with the use of ICT in teaching and learning support.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree or relevant higher-level qualification or vocational training that can be practically applied to supporting pupil development.\nMinimum 3 years’ teaching and learning support experience in Education sector.\nSAFEGUARDING STATEMENT:\nInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
