In 2023, Inspired was recognised by Beauhurst as one of the UK's top 10 highest-value private companies.\nROLE SUMMARY:\nInspired Education are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused and technically proficient IT Operations Engineer who will be school-based.\nYou will be responsible for providing IT support and strategic advice in support of teaching and learning.\nLocation: Onsite (school-based).\nReports to: Senior IT Manager, Head Office.\nHours: 8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday (with one hour lunch break - this may vary slightly depending on specific school requirements).\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide technical advice in support of the resolution of IT incidents.\nWork with the Service Desk to ensure escalated IT issues are resolved within their SLA.\nWork with Head Office in implementing IT systems.\nDocument the setup and configuration of all IT systems bespoke to the school.\nManage IT incidents in a structured way using the Service Desk tool.\nManage IT problems to resolution.\nEnsure IT changes are managed in a structured way and documented.\nAdvise on system enhancements and make recommendations for improvements or replacements.\nSupport the deployment of school systems as required.\nProvide advice and guidance on the use of IT systems to staff and students.\nEnsure IT documentation and asset lists are kept up to date.\nAssist in the design, implementation and management of a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan.\nAssist in the selection and acquisition of computer hardware, software and third party application packages.\nEnsure company policies are adhered to, with a focus on IT and data security.\nEnsure local school policies and procedures are in place to maintain fully operational, robust and secure ICT systems.\nWork flexibly as required in support of the duties of the role.\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:\nStrong technical expertise across Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, and Entra.\nProven experience supporting and maintaining server, network, and IT infrastructure environments.\nDemonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of technical issues.\nExperience implementing IT system changes and providing user support, guidance, and training.\nCustomer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality IT support and service.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation abilities.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound problem-solving capabilities.\nTechnologically agile, with a strong interest in education and experience within the education sector being advantageous.\nSAFEGUARDING STATEMENT:\nInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
