In 2023, Inspired was recognised by Beauhurst as one of the UK's top 10 highest-value private companies.\nROLE SUMMARY:\nLocation: Crickhowell, Wales (within commutable distance)\nWorking pattern: Office based (5 days in per week)\nSalary: £26,000-£28,000 (dependent on experience)\nInspired Online Schools requires an IT Support Technician based in the South Wales, Crickhowell Office to expand the IT department in a broad and varied position. You will be joining an expanding team who have a hands-on approach. Primarily you will be supporting 400+ remote employees remotely as well as 8,000+ students whilst also being involved in a variety of other IT-related tasks.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAbility to log, prioritise and resolve user requests utilising time management skills to prioritise the workload effectively.\nIT asset administration\nIT Hardware setup and maintenance\nSupport 400+ employees remotely and 8,000+ students remotely\nSupport a variety of software packages such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including the ability to troubleshoot\nEscalate and liaise support queries with internal Inspired IT or with external third-party companies\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:\nPrevious experience providing IT support (essential)\nWindows 10/ 11\nMicrosoft Office 365\nAble to troubleshoot and resolve problems methodically and logically\nGood administration/clerical skills for updating records\nEmpathise with user frustrations; capable of dealing with people in a calm, effective manner\nAble to anticipate and understand customer expectations and ensure customer requirements are met and expectations appropriately managed. Able to build professional relationships with customers and suppliers.\nAble to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team, and can share knowledge, ideas and information.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who has some experience in IT Support but is seeking a new position that will give them broader exposure to IT in a rapidly expanding online education provider.
