ROLE SUMMARY:
The British College of Gava is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. We are looking for an inspiring educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences and supporting children to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Monitor, assess and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding student progress and development.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree.
- Experience teaching within the Primary phase.
- Strong knowledge of effective teaching, learning and assessment practices.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- A commitment to delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
